Police arrested Lukman Aliyu, a 20-year-old man, for occupying a six-year-old girl in the Ibeto Community, Niger State.
Command spokesman Sp Wasiu Abiodun revealed this in a statement Friday, February 7, 2025, saying that minors will be from school when the suspect lures her into a bush and beat her up go home.
It is reported that at 5:30 pm on March 30, 2015, Ibeto Police Outstation, led by Nasko Div, reportedly a girl about 6 years old was from school around 29/1/2025 at around 2:00 pm. Going home, there was blood on her body, and when she was questioned, she claimed that a 20-year-old Lukman Aliyu Ibeto, on her way home from school, was in the nearby bushes She was defiled. ”
“The suspect was arrested immediately and he pleaded guilty to the crime. The victim was taken to Nasco General Hospital for medical care and the suspect has been transferred to SCID Minna for further investigation and prosecution.”
