South African man Victor Hlayisani Shivambu has committed suicide after his ex-girlfriend Mihloti Faith Shikhibana commits suicide.
lib Report The incident occurred on April 21, 2025 in the town of Nkwowwwankowa outside Tzaneen, Limpopo Province.
Mihloti’s funeral takes place Nkowankowa.
According to Colonel Malesela Ledwaba, a spokesman for the provincial police, the body was found in the Nkowankowa industrial area.
“Community members reminded the police to get to the scene, and the police arrived there and found an African male body hanging from a tree. At the time of discovery, the identity of the deceased was not known.”
“Preliminary information further suggests that he is a suspect who is associated with the brutal stabbing of his ex-girlfriend, Mihlothi Faith Shikhibana, 44, also took place in Nkowankowa on Monday, April 21, 2025,” Ledewaba said.
Police said the obvious motivation behind the suicide was an ongoing investigation.
He added: “Police have opened investigation cases to determine the exact circumstances of the incident.”
