The local Vigilante group has arrested a Kelvin Okoro for allegedly murdering a pastoral sister from Rivers.
The man was reportedly identified as Kelvin Okoro, who was unable to repay the debt he owed to the deceased and went on to kill her.

This is delighted in the Aluu community in the Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers.
According to the gathering, the deceased (identified as Maureen Wecheonwu) was lured to a specific location by the suspect in the guise of preparing to pay off the debt, and he then went on to kill her there.
An anonymous source said the incident confirmed the incident, saying the pastor’s sister was found in her own blood and local security operations staff were alerted.
“What we hear is that he doesn’t know how to repay the money. So he called out the woman under the guise of discussing debts.
“The Pastor’s sister has been complaining to people in the community about his refusal to repay the debt. Not knowing his evil intentions, he took her on a lonely path and hit her with an object.”
Sources added that after the woman’s body was discovered, suspicion arose and that Okoro could not be located anywhere in the community.
Sources further said Kingsley Wali led a search team to Okoro’s hideout, where he was arrested and handed over to police while he was alerted in the alert commander of the Aruu community.
State Commander spokesman SP Grace Iringe-Koko said the arrest was confirmed.
“Yes, I can confirm. The matter has been transferred to the state’s criminal intelligence and investigation department.”
