The Triangle State Police Department has arrested three of the managers of Century Home Hotel in the Owhelogbo community, Isoko North Positaught and Shote, on a horrible M8rder, a guest identified as Bishop Sunday Ogofotha.
The headquarters spokesman SP Bright Edafe confirmed the arrest in a statement Friday, March 28, 2025, with the hotel manager conspiring with two boys who assured him that he allowed him N5,000,000 to allow them to enter the Sunday room.
The PPRO lists the arrested manager and others, and he said the body on Sunday was found at the hotel on Friday, March 21, 2025.
EDAFE noted that when the deceased (indigenous people of the community) arrived from Lagos at a relative’s funeral and checked into the hotel, he called his wife and informed her of his location.
The funeral was scheduled for Saturday, but no deceased was seen.
Relatives called his wife, who told them his location.
Based on this information, the family moved directly to the hotel for inquiries, but the hotel management told them that no one came to their hotel.
After the heat debate, family members insisted on checking all rooms and had some durable hotel management.
As the checks went on, they arrived at a specific room, and the hotel owner Chief Joseph Ovie Oghole refused, claiming that the client who lived in that specific room was opening and should not be disturbed.
However, families and members of the community guard group broke the door and they saw the man’s body in the bed. He tied it with the rope and did so much damage to him.
The body has been stored in the morgue at the Council Headquarters Ozoro.
