Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim named his 23-man squad against Lyon in the UEFA Europa League quarter-finals.
The final list is released on Manchester United’s official website on Wednesday, April 9, 2025. Kobbie Mainoo initially discovered last week’s group training in Carrington, according to the club’s report.
The England midfielder has been out of the field for two months but can play roles at Groupama Stadium and Luke Shaw, who is appointed among players heading to France.
The defender was an unused replacement during Sunday’s Manchester Derby and he would show a huge push to Amorim whenever he needed someone to cancel from the bench.
Goalkeepers Altay Bayindir and Tom Heaton have recovered the team, although they will not have Matthijs de Ligt and Toby Collyer. De Ligt has been absent since Nottingham Forest was injured.
