Manchester United has confirmed that its women’s team manager Marc Skinner has signed a contract with the club.
The announcement was published on the club’s official website on Wednesday, April 2, 2025. According to the club, the decision to extend Mark Skinner’s contract was due to the club’s impressive game in the league and other games.
“It has been an absolute honor to be the head coach of this amazing football club over the past four years and I am happy to extend my time for at least two years. We are building a young, hungry team with the goal of consistently challenging further trophys for further trophy challenges, which is for further hardship.
United Women’s team has been at a good record since Skinner took over the club since 2021. He led the team to the club’s first trophy by winning the FA Cup after reaching the finals in 2022/23.
In the Women’s Super League, Skinner’s team ranked second in the 2022/23 campaign, winning Champions League football for the first time. The women are currently ranked third this season, have the league’s best defensive record and are still fighting the semifinals in the FA Cup.
