Many people have been confirmed dead after a recent herder attack in Benue.

This is after the recent attack at a security post in the state, where security guards were killed.
A community in Benu state has once again experienced herder attacks as property and life are destroyed.
In the second recorded attack in April, herders attacked the community on Tuesday night, April 15.
Herders reportedly attacked the Ottobi community in the AKPA area of the Ottokepo local government area of Benue state.
Residents who confirmed the incident said;
“Our herders in the Ottoby community attacked us, my wife and children fled the community while I was speaking, please ask for help,”
Kennedy Angbo confirmed the incident to Channels TV, a representative of the Otukpo-Akpa constituency of the Benue State Capitol, who said the incident began at 5:30 p.m.
He added that although the casualties have not been determined, hundreds have fled the community.
Police have not commented on the development as of press time.
Nasarawa
A man was arrested and detained for murdering his colleagues in Nasalava state.
The man, a wheelbarrow pusher, has spoken with the deceased about some customer cargo, leading to the murder.
