A widely circulated video from a church program showed wives kneeling in front of their seated husbands during the celebration.
The man responded: “You who are supposed to be celebrating are kneeling in joy while the people who are celebrating you are sitting? How cute.”
A female user replied: “Some people say that marriage is a humiliating ceremony for women…I wanted to be angry at first, but when I felt good, I just kept silent.”
