Manchester United midfielder Mason Mount has reflected the club’s poor form since the beginning of the season (2024/25).
The former Chelsea player spoke in an interview, which was posted on Manchester United’s official website. Mason Mount is the first to admit that he needs to be consistent if the club has to meet the desired goal of winning the Europa League if the club is bad in the Premier League.
Mount hasn’t enjoyed life in Old Trafford since he moved from Stamford Bridge. He spends most of his time on the club’s injury list.
He said
“100%, I need consistency. I was the first to say I need consistent game time. From now until the end of the season, I want to buy it for every game. Hopefully, that means we will play the finals. As a group, that’s our goal. We know we need to be great in that UEL and can do our best in the Premier League and try to improve our ability as much as possible and improve us as possible and continue to win, but keep winning, keep winning, keep winning, keep winning, keep winning, keep winning.
He continues
“We can see that every game has a small improvement. We’ve lost the game, but feel that they’ve controlled them and haven’t really clicked them. But that’s a few times. But, it’s something we’re working on. We’re working on, and we’re focusing on building slowly.
Manchester United currently ranks 14th in the Premier League, the worst situation in club history. However, they have the opportunity to redeem their season by winning the Europa League, which will ensure automatic position in the European Champions League next season.
