Police agents in the Aonabra Prefecture Aogidi District Command arrested a man when trying to escape with a five -year -old stolen child.
SP TOCHUKWU Ikenga, a spokesman for the Aunabra State Police Department, disclosed this in the press release. He said that due to the credible information of the indigenous people in the area, the arrest was successful.
He said that the suspect was Joshua Simeon, a male, male, 32 years old, OHAOZARA from Eboi, at 4 pm on February 1, 2025, in the northern local government area of Idemili NKPOR Central Park was arrested.
He said:
“It is said that the group also restored a five -year -old girl, and NKemdilim Jacob was taken away by the suspect’s suspect and lived in Umuota Village Obosi in the northern local government area.
“The suspect has boarded a commercial vehicle and went to an unknown destination when he was arrested.
“At the same time, the suspect is under detention. He is currently being interrogated to determine his motivation and determine whether the incident is part of the larger children’s trafficking network.”
Ikenga said that he was also working hard to contact the parents or relatives of the recovered child to meet.
He added:
