Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta confirmed Bukayo Saka had no serious injury in a challenging tackle in Sunday’s 4-0 victory in Ipswich Town.
Recall that Bukayo Saka has recently returned due to three months of absence due to a hamstring injury. After returning, he made a significant contribution to Arsenal’s progress, with Real Madrid reaching the Champions League semifinals in the past.
He was the target of the tackle for Ipswich left-back Leif Davis, who received a straight red card for the challenge during the game on Portman Road. After the game, Saka was tied to the ice on the bench.
Arteta said, “I didn’t see the tackle; it all happened very quickly. The referee made a solid decision. Bukayo was a little bit painful, but thankfully, it didn’t seem too serious.”
Saka’s availability in Arsenal’s upcoming Premier League vs. Crystal Palace is uncertain as the team advances on April 29, a progressive Champions League semi-final against the Paris Saint-Germain champion.
In other news, Arsenal defender William Saliba expressed his commitment to the club that is interested in Real Madrid.
The talented French international is recognized worldwide as one of the world’s top defenders and recently shared his long-term enthusiasm for Arsenal in an interview with Boot Room.
He recalled a photo of his childhood, and he proudly wore an Arsenal jersey, saying, “Yes, my childhood dream, yes, I love it.”
Saliba joined Arsenal in the summer of 2019 and reportedly charged €30 million from Saint Étienne in Ligue 1.
After the borrowing spells of Saint-étienne, Olympique de Marseille and OGC Nice, he returned to the emirate, where he established himself as a key member of the Mikel Arteta team.
