The incident was reportedly in the village of Jwelu in the Kakumu sub-site in Rachuonyo East Prefecture, Kenya.
It is collected that some residents found a car in the bushes and theft of the car was stolen by the shocking speed of livestock theft.
They approach the vehicle and find God’s man with a woman. When questioned, the priest tried to escape and was captured and beaten by the mob.
Another group of mobs burned his car, continued to beat the man, and then someone who knew him came to rescue him. So far, the woman has fled the scene of the attack.
The pastor was then taken to the hospital for medical care because he suffered serious injuries.
The Laguno East Police Department commander confirmed the incident, and Laban Omol said police had begun investigating the matter and launched a raid for the perpetrators.
“The officers will interact with the residents to help determine the truth about what happened,” Omore said.
“Let residents avoid taking the law into their own hands, because doing so can unjustly punish innocent people,” he added.
