
A shocking video captures the moment a woman is being taken by a bulldog M@Uled on a beach in the Dominican Republic.
Luisa Encarnación, 53, was bitten by a dog on the shore of Palenque Beach in the southern city of Sabana Grande de Palenque on Sunday, March 30.
The video shows the dog trying to drag the screaming woman to her hair while trying to crawl.
Bystanders took turns hitting the dog with sticks to stop the attack, but they failed.

However, a brave man managed to pull the dog out of the woman and slam it onto his head, while the other tended toward Encarnación.
According to Dominican TV news channel Noticias Sin, the woman was taken to a medical facility and underwent an emergency operation.

Encarnación, who suffered head, neck and face injuries, survived the ordeal.
National Police investigators searched the dog owner, whose owners could be held responsible for the attack.
In response to the incident, Sabana Grande de Palenque mayor Miguel Valera met with agents from the Central Tourism Police Department and prohibited dogs on the beach.
Residents concerned, residents called for legislation on dog owners to protect beach and park visitors from future attacks.
