The city of Rio has provided funding for free exhibitions as part of a plan to promote tourism and strengthen the local economy. Officials estimate the event could bring as much as $100 million.
The concert marks Lady Gaga’s return to Brazil after more than a decade of return, her last performance in the country dates back to 2012.
