American singer Normani revealed that her fiancé NFL player DK Metcalf told her that he envisioned marrying her before they started dating.
In an interview with Vogue, Normany said Metcalf told her that he married her after knowing he watched her “motivation” music video in the locker room.
“He was like, ‘The moment I saw you rising on the screen, I said, ‘That would be my wife. One day it would be my girlfriend. I had a relationship and the chips fell off the way they did,’ she said.
Recall that Metcalf announced at a press conference on Thursday that he and Normani were engaged.
He revealed that he recently proposed in a family in Houston, Texas.
The couple made their romance public in 2023 after singer Ciara’s introduction, after he married Metcalf’s now Seattle Seahawks colleague Russell Wilson.
