Kevin de Bruyne’s representative reportedly negotiated with Serie A leaders for the first time this summer when he made a free transfer.
De Bruyne will be a free agent at the end of the season when his Manchester City contract expires.
The 33-year-old revealed last month that Manchester City football director Txiki Begiristain and CEO Ferran Soriano told him that his contract would not be renewed.
According to the Times, Naples has contacted de Bruen’s representatives in the summer move.
Naples secures a place in the Champions League next season and will win the Serie A title.
Naples is reportedly a friendship between De Bruen and his fellow Belgian International Lukaku, which could help convince the midfielder to join the club.
De Bruyne expressed hope to continue playing at the highest level and would consider the one that suits his family best.
“Honestly, I still think I can perform at this level as I have shown, but I know the club has to make a decision.”
“I want to open anything (next) because I have to view the whole picture. I’m working on sports reasons, family and everything together, and what makes the most sense to me and my family.
“I still feel like I can play at a good level, but once I really understand a little bit, I have to make a decision.”
According to Sky Sports, Aston Villa is one of the Premier League teams asking about the move. He is also associated with the shift to move to MLS, where the Chicago Fire has priority for the star.
De Bruyne has made 36 appearances in all of Man City’s games, scoring six goals and providing eight assists.
De Bruyne won six Premier League titles, Champions League and five League Cups during his time at Man City.
He can sign from the club with Manchester City’s third FA CU against Crystal Palace in the final on May 17.
