Popular Nigerian skier maker and musician Nasboi aims to ensure Afrobeats superstar Davido’s musical features survive his ongoing 36 state tour.
Nasboi, who launched a bold campaign eight days ago, has visited eight states, and the placards openly attracted Davido when his vehicle was involved in the accident. Thankfully, no death was lost.
In an official press statement from Abuja on June 4, 2025, Nasboi described the experience as horror, but reiterated his commitment to the cause. He noted that while the initial goal was to get David’s attention, the journey has now evolved into a personal mission of resilience and determination.
“Yes, the accident happened, yes, it’s terrible. But I’m still alive, and for that, I’m grateful.” “This journey is now bigger than a verse from Davido. It has proved to me and others that I will keep moving forward no matter what the setback is.”
The comedian turned musician also acknowledged the concerns and criticisms he has received since he began his bold tour, but insisted that his decision to oppress was intentional, not hopeless.
Nasboi’s campaign sparked a conversation online about perseverance, ambition and creative characters’ willingness to realize their dreams. He ended his statement with a message of encouragement, urging others to be true to their beliefs even in the face of adversity.
