The Alliance of Civil Society Organizations (CSOS) describes the sexual harassment allegations by Kogi Central Councillor Natasha Akpoti-uduaghan against the Senate President, Godswill Akpabioas cheap ransomware.
Naija News The report said that the Civil Society Organization’s executive director on Thursday was in a statement in Abuja, Lary Onahurging Akpabio to remain focused and to continue to provide legislative interventions to Nigerians.
He said Natasha’s allegations were to undermine democratic attention and prevent the Senate from sanctioning her.
Onah also voted for Akpabio, describing his leadership as the 10th Senate president as the influential and most tolerant person.
He said that while Akpabio denied allegations of sexual harassment, Nigerians and lawmakers believed he had the ability to drive the complexity of governance.
Civil society organizations further urged Natasha to apologize for her wrongdoing and withdraw her sexual harassment petition against Akpabio.
He said:We praise the professionalism of the Senate President in his plenary session with Senator Natasha Akpoti-uduaghan during the dispute in the seating arrangements.
Natasha’s violation of the Senate’s rules on seating arrangements is wrong.
“She should apologize for her mistaken behavior and withdraw a petition for sexual harassment against the Senate president, the largest number of Senate presidents in Nigeria.
“The allegations are just to distract the Senate sanctions against her and to force leaders to bid at all times.”
