In this report, NewsOnline Nigeria highlights a step-by-step guide to checking the results of the 2024 NECO Advanced School Certificate Exam.
Before you start – make sure you have the following:
- Your NECO exam number
- Exam Year
- Valid email address
- NECO Results Check Scratch Card (Purchase Details will be provided below)
Step 1: Buy Your NECO Results Check Token
Before accessing the results, you need to purchase a NECO result check token. This token replaces the scratch card system that was previously used.
You can purchase tokens online through the NECO results website: https://result.neco.gov.ng.
- Go to https://result.neco.gov.ng.
- Click Purchase Token.
If you already have an account, please log in to your email and password. If not, you need to create an account by clicking on “Register” and filling in your details.
Once logged in, click Buy Token again and follow the prompts to make a payment.
You can pay with a debit card. After payment, your token will be provided according to the My Token section of your account.
Step 2: Visit the NECO Results Check Portal
- Once the token is ready, you will be ready to check the results.
- Browse NECO results at https://result.neco.gov.ng.
- Here you will welcome it by filling in a form.
Step 3: Enter your exam details
Carefully enter the required details:
- Choose the exam year, such as 2024.
- Depending on your participation, choose the exam type, such as SSCE internal (Jun/Jul) or SSCE external (Nov/Dec).
- Enter your token number (this is the token you purchased earlier).
- Enter the exam/registration number in the specified field.
- Click the Check My Results button.
