    Nigeria attempts to host Formula 1 Grand Prix with the goal of its first African race since 1993

    Nigeria has officially participated in the Formula 1 Grand Prix, aiming to be the first African country to host a famous event since South Africa in 1993. The National Sports Commission (NSC) is led by Chairman Shehu Dikko and chaired by Shehu Dikko, announced its ambitions and has appointed Opus Racing to the Nigeria opainsative of Nigeria of Nigeria of Nigeria bid.

    Lagos Report, F1 Official, Lewis Hamilton’s Eye, invites Abuja to strengthen the proposal, Dikko invites F1 top figures to Abuja, which include: Stefano Domenicali, F1 CEO Lewis Hamilton, seven-time world champion Tilke engineer and convener of private officials, private racing officer, world champion official, infrastructure, tourism and investment opportunities.

    “It is the driving force for tourism and economic growth” – Dikko talks about bidding, Dikko stressed that the project goes beyond sports: “We are exploring all the possibilities of bringing Formula One to Nigeria, not just sports events, but as a driving force for tourism, infrastructure, youth participation, economic growth and the country.” If successful, the Grand Prix can enhance Nigeria’s global image, attract foreign investment, create jobs and position sports as a major contributor to the country’s GDP. Fierce competition from other African countries Nigeria faces competition from South Africa and Rwanda, and they are also exploring bids to host the F1 Grand Prix on African soil.
