Nigerians fell into darkness after the State Grid experienced another system crash.
On Wednesday morning, February 12, the power generation of the grid was lost.
Sources from some power generation companies confirmed that general grid interference occurred Wednesday morning.
On Wednesday’s X handling method, Abuja Electric Power Distribution Company confirmed the development.
AEDC’s statement reads: “Dear Customer, we regret to inform you that a system disturbance occurred on the National Grid at 11:34 am this morning and that a power outage was caused in our franchise area today.
“Although the gradual recovery of the power supply has begun, please rest assured that we are working closely with relevant stakeholders so that once the grid is stabilized, the power can be fully restored. Thank you for your understanding and patience as we strive to serve you.”
