    • He described Nigeria as the first place where he felt overwhelming love.
    • Senat expressed these views during a visit to the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

Renowned American anchor Kai Cenat has spoken of his deep affection for Nigeria, describing it as the first place where he experienced overwhelming love.

The popular content creator disclosed this during a courtesy visit to the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, at his Lagos House in Marina.

Kai, who is visiting Nigeria for the first time in 2024, revealed that his return was to continue and follow up on projects he had started earlier during his stay in the country.

The anchor shared his excitement to return to Lagos and praised the warm welcome he received upon arrival, saying: “I’m so happy to be here. I love coming here. When I landed, I was crazy in love. Nigeria was the first country that I felt 100 percent in love with.”

His statement has since sparked reactions on social media, with many Nigerians applauding his public expression of admiration for the country and its people.

During the meeting, Governor Sanwo-Olu spoke about key youth empowerment and tourism initiatives being implemented by his administration. He also revealed that the Eyo Cultural Festival held in December attracted about 10,000 participants and thousands of spectators.

Kai Senat’s growing ties with Nigeria continue to excite fans, especially young Nigerians, who see his visit as a positive boost to Nigeria’s global presence in digital media and entertainment.
