Regarding the concerns about depreciation and economic difficulties in Naira, Maduka acknowledged the challenge but insisted that the government must reinvest subsidized savings into infrastructure to benefit the wider public.
“If funds are used effectively, progress will be made,” he said, warning that if they do not, the country will stagnate.
He also spoke about Nigeria’s debt situation, believing that borrowing is not inherent if it is used for capital and infrastructure development rather than rash expenditures.
“Reducing government overdos requires a level of discipline. Are we in the right direction? Yes,” he concluded.
