Castle biscuits -a staple food, full of food storage rooms for many Nigerian families, including my childhood family. Imagine how happy I was when I accidentally discovered a pack of these iconic biscuits in the local African grocery store in the UK. I hurriedly took them home, full of expectations When I open it. However, when I bite the first bite, the sweet expectation was replaced by disappointment. The biscuits may be baked too much. It is more dry than my memory, and lacks the gentle crunching and delicate sweetness in my memory.
In order to reverse the situation, I decided to transform the biscuits into desserts. Elix roasted tofu cheese cake is the answer. The crispy base made of biscuits, cream roasted tofu fillings, natural sweetness to ensure that it does not contain dairy products and refined sugar. I put some frozen berries on the cheese cake (heated in the microwave for 30 seconds, so that they become delicious). Try your ingredients at will. The fillings of the cheese cake are intentionally neutral (um, vanilla flavor), so it is an excellent canvas of any bright and delicious ingredients. Why not sprinkle some melting chocolate or salted caramel sauce?
Needless to say, you can use any other types of biscuits as the basis to make this recipe-the digestive effect is particularly good.
You can also choose to use different sweeteners, such as agave syrup, dates or coconut sugar.
