He called for an immediate investigation into the reasons for the issuance of the visa and warned that Nigeria would take decisive action if a satisfactory explanation was not provided.
Nigeria’s Defense Minister Bello Matawalle condemned Canada’s refusal to defence of visas to Defence Chief of Staff Gen Christopher Musa and other senior military officers.
Matawalle described the negation of visas as an “insult to our national dignity and integrity.”
“We cannot make our country respected in this way on the global stage,” Mataval said.

He called for an immediate thorough investigation into the reasons for the visa denial and asserted that Nigeria must respond firmly to protect its position in international affairs.
“If we do not get a satisfactory explanation, we must be prepared to take appropriate and confident actions,” Matawalle declared.
Former Finance Minister announces warrant for corruption
Former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta was declared a fugitive by the country’s special prosecutor Kissi Agyebeng and charged with corruption.
“You have two options: either voluntarily return to jurisdiction or the OSP will execute your return,” Agyebeng said.
