    Nigerian celebrities advocate opposition to fake news

    A group of celebrities in Nigeria opposed the country’s fake news and error messages.

    The group cooperated with Gatefield and Public Strategy and Gatefield (Gatefield) to fight against threats.

    In the Gatefield statement, celebrities who advocate struggle with fake news include: tools, Linda Ejiofor, Elozonam, Folu, Folu Storm, Ibrahim Suleiman, Kiki Omeili and Jayonair.

    According to Gatefield’s advocate leader Shirley Ewang, the movement will enable Nigerians to identify and refute error messages and false news.

    The statement wrote: “The initiative aims to attract millions of Nigerians through popular media and the ground, while calling for greater responsibility for large technology companies to educate them to educate fake news.

    “In 2018, a fake photo posted on Facebook was watched 11,000 times, and a ethnic conflict occurred in the Nigerian Plateau, causing a tragic death of 12 people. Unfortunately, this incident was not an isolated case. Essence
