Nigerian content creators churning out low-quality content – Emeka Darlington

Nigerian actor Emeka Darlington has claimed that content creators in the country are producing low-quality content.

This is why the industry is described as saturated by many Nigerians who, according to content creators, are affected by low-standard content.

In a recent interview, the actor said: “The industry seems to be saturated because there is a lot of low-quality content. If the content is up to standard, it cannot be called ‘saturated’.” Money is a driving force for some content creators and I don’t blame anyone.

Darlington added, “Once people see someone buying a car or a house, they have no idea what that person did to get to that point. Now, we have too many content creators and fewer and fewer people watching. .

Darlington elaborated on the flexibility that content creation offers compared to traditional acting, stating: “When you act, you’re at the mercy of the producers. They decide what they think you can do. Casting is a big deal The extent depends on appearance, which is why you often see people playing the same role over and over again because they fit the role. Content creation, on the other hand, allows you to be flexible today. Tomorrow, I can play the role of a local.

“Now you can say no at some point, especially if you want to try something new.”
