- Chef Dammy has graduated from culinary school and is officially certified as a professional chef.
- The achievement marks a big step forward following her high-profile but unrecognized 120-hour cookathon attempt in Oye-Ekiti, which attracted national attention despite not being recognized by Guinness World Records.

Nigerian chef Damilola Adeparusi, popularly known as Chef Dammy, has officially graduated from culinary school, marking a major milestone in her career. Graduation certified her as a professional chef, a long-held dream of the young culinary enthusiast.
From record attempt to certification
News of the certification comes months after she gained national attention for her ambitious but controversial culinary endeavors. Earlier this year, Chef Dammy attempted an unregistered 120-hour cooking marathon in Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti State. This marathon cooking event aims to challenge the Guinness World Record for the longest personal cooking time.
Although her attempt was not officially monitored or certified by Guinness World Records due to her failure to comply with required registration protocols, the event brought her widespread publicity and highlighted her determination to pursue a career in the culinary arts.
Her decision to attend and complete culinary school marked a successful transition from pursuing record-setting fame to achieving formal professional qualifications.
