A physical therapist who worked with the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) has been shot dead by unknown armed attackers.
UBTH’s public relations officer confirmed the sad development in a statement issued on Tuesday Joshua UwaibiOn behalf of the hospital’s management, noting that they had formally asked the Edo State Police Command and sent a copy to the State Services Department (DSS) for investigation and arrested the individual responsible for the murder of Ogunniyi, who had lunch at a restaurant behind the hospital last Friday, on the way to murder.
According to Uwaibi “A physical therapist at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital was shot dead on the way for lunch Friday.
“According to the gathering, a car was chasing another. The car behind was shooting in the car in front, and a wandering bullet hit the deceased’s neck. He was taken to the accident and the emergency room, but he did not do it.
“We have written to the Edo Police Department and copied the DSS’s call for an investigation and the need to bring the killer to justice.”
