The family mourned Nandi Abraham, a 37-year-old Nigerian woman, who was mourning in the hands of “Doctor Quark” after she was allegedly given birth in the Plateau state.
A family member, Dakum Kopnam Katlong, called on the state government to check on the activities of doctors and hospitals in a Facebook post Thursday, March 6, 2025.
“It’s time for the state’s Department of Health, human rights and other organizations to have certain things on its child mortality rate D3ATH in the hands of some vulgar private hospitals,” he wrote.
Another sibling, Lekyes Titus Dakum, claimed that an unqualified doctor ended his sister’s life.
“I really wish I could succumb to time. Because of the demise of our parents for about 21 to 23 years. Five of us are always together, growing and succeeding with each other, we are all in each other’s glory and glory until yesterday the whole world collapsed. From the beginning of five (4), we were in pain, but my pain almost tore my sister apart.”
