Nigerians on X responded to former Kaduna Governor Nasir El-Rufai, sharing photos of themselves attending the funeral at the Anambra State Okija Church.
The politician posted a photo of himself in the church with a caption
“We joined the Anohu family at the funeral held in Okija this morning for Chief Mathias Chidi Anohu. May his kind soul rest in peace. ”
Some Nigerians think it is a political statement, as many Nigerian politicians have begun to impress in the 2027 general election. One of them is El-Rufai, who has since defected from APC to SDP and has been working to disappoint today’s government.
