    Nimet releases three-day forecast – [See State-by-state Weather Conditions]

    The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) predicts sunlight and cloud coverage from nationwide to Thursday.

    Naija News In the weather outlook published on Monday, Nimet said Tuesday it will feature sunny conditions and is somewhat cloudy in the northern region.

    Later that day, in some parts of the state of Adamawa, Kaduna and Taraba, there were potentially isolated thunderstorms.

    For the central northern region, Nimet expects occasional cloudy weather while also having a small chance of thunderstorms in the federal capital territory, Benue, Benue, Nasarawa and Kogi.

    As the day progresses into the afternoon or evening, isolated thunderstorms can occur in the federal capital region, Benue, Niger, the plateau and the state of Kwara.

    In the southern part of the country, morning thunderstorms may affect the cross and Akwa regions.

    Later that day, isolated thunderstorms are expected to occur in areas including IMO, OYO, OGUN, OGUN, EDO, ABIA, ABIA, ANAMBRA, DELTA, LAGOS, RIVERS, RIVERS, CROSS RIVER, BAYELSA, BAYELSA and AKWA IBOM countries, including IMO, Oyo, Ogun, Edo, Abia, Abia, Abia, Abia, Abia, Abia, Abia, Abia, Abia, Abia, Abia, Abia, Bayelsa and Akwa Ibom countries.

    “In the south, there is a sunny cloudy in the prospect of thunderstorms in Ogun, Lagos, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, River, River and Part of the Bayelsa State.

    “In the afternoon/evening, it is expected to be in Ekiti, Osun, Ogun, Ogun, Ondo, Edo, Anambra, Enugu, Lagos, Rivers, Rivers, Bayelsa, Bayelsa, Cross River, Akwa Ibom and Delta States, Akwa ibom and Delta States, Osun, Ogun, Edo, Anambra, Enugu, Lagos, Lagos, Lagos, Lagos, Lagos, Rivers and Delta countries It says.

    Nimet recommends that individuals increase their water intake to maintain moisture and seek a ventilated, cool environment, as high temperatures are prevalent in many parts of the country, increasing the risk of heat stress.

    The agency also encourages the public to maintain good hygiene habits by washing their hands regularly, avoiding crowded areas, wearing masks to minimize the risk of infection and maintaining distance from the sick.

    “Avoid sun hours (noon to 3 p.m.) and protect yourself from excessive exposure from direct sunlight. Strong winds may cause rain in areas where thunderstorms may occur, and the public should take adequate precautions.

    “Airline operators are advised to obtain weather reports (flight documents) for specific airports from Nimet for effective planning in their operations. “Residents are advised to understand the situation through Nimet’s weather updates. Visit our website www.nimet.gov.ng” It says.
