- The NBS regrets some of her previous actions and their impact on her professional reputation.

Nigerian actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday (NBS) expressed frustration after losing multiple opportunities for brand recognition due to past online behaviors.
The actress, formerly known for her outspoken nature and social media controversy, admitted she now regrets some of her actions. She often has public disputes with her former partners and industry colleagues, which seems to have affected her professional reputation.
In an emotional video shared on her official Instagram page, Nkechi Blessing revealed that while some people initially showed interest in working with her, they later pulled out after seeking third-party advice. She explained that her online controversy stems from negative descriptions of romantic partners who defended the past, rather than initiating conflict.
According to the actress, she never deliberately dragged anyone online and responded only if she felt an attack. She now faces the consequences of past communications, as potential business collaborations slip away due to what she believes is online roles.
She said:
“Before whatever relationship I had that went viral online, I’ve had several relationships with people that didn’t even make it online and the relationship ended and then just one that came online and made headlines, people are categorying on it. Why am I saying this? I meet someone today that likes me and wants to help me, not sexual, just normal people that like me that didn’t meet me online, and you know in life if you want to do something with somebody, either business, relationship or anything, you will seek third party opinion like ‘this person I met Can you tell me something about her? That’s me trying to defend myself because the internet will never forget. I won’t be anyone saying angry with my people, I won’t come to defend myself. If it’s now, I might ignore it because it’s my life now, ignoring all the negative atmosphere and focusing on positivity, but it’s always affecting me. Imagine someone who wants to work with me, they seek third-party advice, and they hear something like ‘ah! That controversial girl! She’s not the one you can work with.”
Nkechi Blessing said she could no longer tolerate negative emotions targeting her. She encourages people to know her individually, rather than judge her based on online perceptions, emphasizing that she is a kind person. She said:
“I can’t accept it anymore, that’s enough, I know I’ve let you all see me like this, but it’s not me. Allow me to have friends and business partners in peace, let them know me on their own, that bad guy wey wey wey wey wey wey wey una dey ne dey not dey note the internet on the internet, let them experience themselves. The changes over the past two years.”
Nkechi Blessing apologizes to those who think she is troubled and asks her to have a chance to work with them. In her words:
“This is my sincere apology to everyone who sees me as an idiot, annoying and infamous. Please ask you to be in the name of God, if you see someone who wants to work with me, give them the benefit of doubt and tell them “to know her yourself” I am a very lovely person, I am a very lovely person.”
