Nigerian woman Nneka Obani has advised women not to feel flattered when their ex-boyfriend or husband crawls back to life.
She responded to this Friday in response to the story of Facebook user Mercy Kalu Ebe, who was abandoned by her husband after financially supporting him and funding his lifestyle.
Messi’s husband dated her and left her to travel abroad, where he lived for 12 years. When he was deported, they came back together.
She wrote: “No man tried to go back to a woman, if she did not do well, the woman she was initially abandoned. The only reason he tried to go back to life is if he saw you make significant progress in your absence.”
“So don’t feel flattered if your ex-husband or ex-boyfriend suddenly wants you back, especially if you are no longer where he leaves you.
“Two things involved;
“Either he is going to go back to dig gold, or he is agreeing that he has no shares with success. Or he is going to come back to you because you are the only one who can tolerate his bad behavior. He must have worked with countless women who rejected him, so he decided to return to you. You are not special.”
