- Nigerian singer 2Face (Innocent Idibia) discusses his ongoing feud with former bandmate Blackface.
- At the heart of the conflict are accusations of intellectual property theft brought by Blackface against 2Face.
- 2Face has always denied the accusations.

Nigerian singer, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Face, has revealed where his former bandmate Faze stands in his long-running feud with another former bandmate, Blackface.
GistLover recalled that Blackface and 2Face have had an on-and-off feud for years, with the former accusing the latter of stealing intellectual property, a charge 2Face has always denied.
Speaking to fans at the Made in Benue music festival in Makurdi recently, 2Face said Faze has maintained a neutral stance in the dispute between him and Blackface. He stressed that the rift had nothing to do with Faze.
“You all know that Plantashun Boiz consists of Blackface, 2Face and Faze. But due to some unforeseen circumstances, Blackface is no longer with us now.
“However, whatever criticism Blackface and I receive, it doesn’t matter within Faze. So, Faze is by my side and we will represent Plantashun Boiz,” he said.
The rift between Blackface and 2Face began after Plantashun Boiz disbanded in the 2000s. After the breakup, Blackface blamed 2Face for the breakup and accused him of stealing songs.
Despite repeated attempts at reconciliation, relations between the two remained strained for years, and peace efforts were often short-lived.
