Observation movement rejects the Labor Party’s “olive branch” and insists on independence

Yunusa Tanko, the national coordinator of the Observation Movement, said the group was only interested in the political future of its leader Peter Obi and had no relationship with any political party.

Tanko said in response to Julius Abure’s call for watching members to register with Labour and become real members.

Tanko said in his speech to the Sun that the movement was not interested in any olive branch that any party expanded to become a registered member.

He further emphasized that the media charisma of the group led by Julius Abure does not represent the interests of the movement, and it is by no means a priority, nor is it a discussion in any paper.

Tanko said:Let me say that no olive branches extend to us because we did not leave the party unless we left the party. If necessary, please only those who leave the party and rejoin. When I talk to you, I am still a member of the Labor Party. What we are doing is that as a group we are living and we need to understand that. We have clearly shown that movement is like our movement in PDM. I can tell you that most PDMs are members of PDP, some of them are not.

“The fact is that some members of the Vision Movement can be reserved as members of our party, while some people cannot. We just need to choose our members and know where they need them. Some of our members are in the APC, some are in other parties, and some are technical experts who are not part of any party, but they are biased.”

Tanko, while continuing the record, insisted that calling for contradictory movements to register as members of the party is a derailment at the heart of its goal.

“You will see that we don’t want to join the issue with anyone on this matter, as we see publications calling for standing up and becoming registered members, which is far from our main goal. As I told you, none of the members of the movement will be members of any political party.

“Please quote me anywhere; we didn’t ask me. They are the ones who make the news statement, and we didn’t join the question with anyone. We just focus on what we’re doing”tanks were added.
