Oil marketers are reportedly dumping NNPCL’s dangerous gasoline in the price war.

Nigerian News Nalin Some oil marketers have begun changing the logo of Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation Limited at their gas stations as dealers trade the franchise with NNPCL, due to the fierce competition of oil in the oil downstream sector for refined products. .

According to the gathering, many others are considering the move, especially in Lagos, after the recent collapse of refined product prices at the $20 billion Rankidante oil refinery.

There are already some dealers that have been placed frequently on fill stations near Wawa on the Lagos-Ibadan highway and on Ibafo on busy roads that have given up The name of the National Petroleum Corporation.

Independent marketers are seeking to achieve the right products at a cheaper rate, as deregulation in the downstream oil sector leads to intense competition.

Now, many gas stations that were formerly affiliated with the National Petroleum Corporation are renaming and renamed to ownership of private oil marketers, especially in Lagos and neighboring countries.

It is also learned that due to the reduced load costs of advanced automotive spirits (gasoline) at the Dangote refinery, currently lower than the landing costs of imported gasoline, more and more marketers may abandon NNPCL’s license.

Nigerian News Nalin The report said that the gasoline price war has recently reignited in the industry after Dangote oil refinery cut its loading costs from N950 per liter to N890.

The dealer explained that the reshaping of the filling station is a strategy for marketers to pick cheaper products from the Dangote refinery and buy other import sources at a cheap price.

The claim was confirmed by the National Propaganda Minister of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria in an exclusive interview on Tuesday.
