    Olamide announces 12th studio album of the same name, scheduled to be released in June 2025

    Nigerian rap legend and Afrobeats Trail Blazer Olamide have officially announced the release date for his highly anticipated 12 studio albums.

    The same-named project is scheduled to drop on June 3, 2025, another milestone in the career of one of Africaโ€™s most influential music idols.

    The announcement comes with the album’s lead single release Kai,feature viskidthe track premiered on Tuesday, April 29, 2025. The track has begun to cause a significant buzz on social media and music platforms, creating high expectations for the entire project.

    The upcoming album will feature 17 tracks, making it Olamideโ€™s longest album since 2017 Lagos Nava. Not only is this his 12th studio album, it also marks his 15th career project, cementing his position as one of the most stable and accomplished artists in the Nigerian music industry.

    While full details about the album’s sound and guest features are still in the parcel, the decision to present a profoundly personal and reflective work in his capacity that may capture Olamide’s position at this stage of his outstanding career.
