    • Senator Ovie Omo-agege praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for signing the Southern Development Commission bill.

    • Omo-agege noted that the committee will complement the role of the Niger Delta Development Commission.

Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, former vice chairman of the Senate, welcomes President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to sign the Southern Development Commission bill to sign the law bill.

This is included in a statement signed by Sunny Areh, media adviser to Senator Ovie Omo-agege

Omo-agege praised President Tinubu for agreeing to the bill, noting that it will accelerate growth in the South and promote fairness and equity.

According to Omo-agege, “I am not actually surprised that President Tinob ignored the campaign in some ways to ignore the SSDC bill.

Knowing that the President is a man who always seeks equity and equity, his decision strengthens his respect and commitment to the development of the Niger Delta. ”

He further noted: “SSDC laws will further accelerate South-South growth and supplement the role of NDDC, which will exceed the southern states.”

Omo-agege noted that the committee will ensure that non-oil production areas are not missed, he said: “In addition, the NDDC is only committed to oil production communities in the Niger Delta and other parts of the country. President Tinubu agreed to the bill, ensuring that non-oil production areas are not in the ongoing roadmap and that the region has not been abandoned.

All political systems will conflict and compete due to their control. These conflicts are sometimes mild or intense, depending on the interests driving them, as articulated in Gareth Morgan’s pioneering work “Interests, Conflicts and Powers: Organizations as Political Institutions.”
