Omo-agege praised Ewubare’s lineage and experience in the international oil industry, saying his return was a game changer in the NNPC reform efforts.
Former Senator Ovie Omo-Agege congratulated Roland Ewubare on his appointment as the group chief operating officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL).
Omo-agege describes the appointment as a bold move that will bring new impetus to reform Nigeria’s oil industry.
In a statement signed by Ovie Omo-Agege, media adviser Sunny Areh, Senator Media Adviser, Ovie Omo-Agege, praised Ewubare’s lineage and experience in the international oil industry.
“His return is a game-changer of the NNPC Limited reform efforts,” Omo-Agege said.
Ewubare’s impressive background includes working in Schlumberger’s New York office and graduating from Harvard Law School.
His first position as group general manager at NNPC, Napims and chief operating officer in charge of Upstream and Venture Capital Bureau, he positioned him well to push President Bola Tinubu’s plan to promote investment in the oil and gas industry.

“I’m very happy to be able to bring Mr. Ewubare back to the NNPC, which requires his revolutionary thinking and plans to put it on the right keel, as President Tinubu has given it a leverage to operate as a commercial entity.
“I thank the President for his bold vision for making a call, and I am sure that dreams and visions will be realized in Ewubare’s management team,” Omo-Agege said.
