A man was killed in a road accident while another was injured in a lone car accident with the GBONGAN/IFE expressway on Wednesday, April 2.
According to the Federal Road Safety Force (FRSC), an accident at Oxen State Command occurred around the Olin area, from the Ile-fife at Oxen State University, about 8:45 a.m., which was caused by a brake failure.
Ta Sokunbi, the state’s department commander, pointed out in a statement that before the automatic crash occurred, occupants marked with white Foltom commercial trucks used the T-7852 LA mark or any protective gadget.
The vehicle driven by an Akeem is Aderinsoye, which carries carbonated drinks and sprinkles its contents on the highway.
Sokunbi, who warned drivers of excessive speed, accused them of always ensuring that their vehicles were in good condition before any journey.
“The injured victim was taken to the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital Complex (OAUTHC) in Ile-Ife for treatment, and the body was deposited into the morgue of the hospital,” he said.
“The department commander warned the public to always make sure their vehicles are in good condition before starting any journey, and he also warned the driver to avoid excessive speeding.”
