Nigerian singer-songwriter Orezi was born in Esesegine Allen and is making a powerful comeback, determined to retake his place at the apex of the Afrobeats scene. With fresh music, high energy performances and an ambitious year, he is laying the foundation for a victory return.

In November, Orezi collaborated with South Africa’s sensational PCEE to remix his impressive single I swearcreated a fusion of sounds in Nigeria and South Africa, which resonate between borders. The collaboration has been causing a sensation, and the song is getting stronger with the release of the official music video (photos in South Africa).

The latest version is his success Chocolate Daddy EP demonstrates his versatility through collaborations with artists such as Tekno, Ugandan Superstar Sheebah and Cameroonian singer Daphne. The project reaffirms Orezi’s ability to unite a diverse African influence, further cementing his position as a talented artist.

After spending a lot of time in the UK, Orezi recently returned to Nigeria without wasting time reconnecting with his fans. On Sunday, February 3, he performed an exciting high-energy show at Vogue Club, marking his official return to the music industry. The night proves his lasting star power as his crowd resonates with his classic songs and new sounds.

Looking to the future, Orezi confirmed a new album is on the way. But before the entire project declines, he plans to keep fans steady singles, ensuring 2025 is the year he once again consolidates himself at the forefront of Afrobeats.

Orezi, longing for hunger, talent and a clear vision for the future, returns here to stay.
