Kaduna State former governor Nasir El-Rufai believes President Bola Tinubu depends on what all Progressive Party Congress (APC) (APC) expects of him According to his history in Lagos.

Naija News The report said El-Rufai revealed this in Arise TV’s prime time plan on Monday, February 24, 2025.

According to him, two years after President Tinubu was elected, the party’s organs were not functioning.

The former FCT minister noted that Tinubu did not meet expectations of lifting Nigeria to the highest level based on his past records.

He said “Two years after President Tinubu’s election, no party organ is operating, the ideal of progress is not full of vitality and our high expectations for the President to raise the country to the highest level based on his history in Lagos, Not achieved to some extent.”

Meanwhile, Nasir El-Rufai said on Monday that he was not rejected as a ministerial candidate by the National Assembly.

Naija News El-Rufai said in an interview with Arise TV’s Golden Age that President Bola Tinubu was just “changed his mind about the nomination”

El-Rufai debunked the National Assembly’s claim that he rejected, as the Department of State Services (DSS) security report says, “Since I left the office, the president publicly begged me to support him, I said I would, I want nothing. I am a homemade person and I don’t need anything. In two months of negotiations, we finally agreed that he will Nominate me as minister, and under certain conditions, the President relies on the President to change his mind. Please don’t believe that the National Assembly rejected my story, they have nothing to do with it, and the President doesn’t want me to be in his cabinet.”
