The IJAW Publishers Forum (IPF) praised Dr. Dennis Otuaro, administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Program (PAP).
Dr. Otuaro’s government has restored important programs, including foreign scholarships, marine training programs, vocational training and empowerment programs, and interacted with stakeholders through a wide range of conferences.
The IJAW Publishers Forum (IPF) extended his heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Dennis Otuaro (PAP), administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Program (PAP), who successfully implemented services and transformative reforms in his first year of office.
In a statement issued by IPF President Comrade Ozobo Austin, the forum praised Dr. Otuaro for resuming important plans for his previous suspension, including foreign scholarships, marine training programs, vocational training, vocational training and authorization programs.
“We are proud of the outstanding achievements of Dr. Otuaro in just one year, and his efforts to restore and enhance key programs demonstrate a commitment to strengthening young people and empowering the people of the Niger Delta,” Comrade Austin said.
Dr. Otuaro’s government is marked by a series of broad and inclusive stakeholder meetings that actively involve predecessors, community leaders, local stakeholders, women and traditional rulers in the Niger Delta region.
This collaborative approach enhances community engagement and support for the amnesty initiative.
The IPF highlighted some of Dr. Otuaro’s outstanding achievements, including the deployment of more than 2,000 students in various universities in Nigeria and abroad to award scholarships.
“In Lagos, about 40 former fixed-holders were deployed for aviation maintenance training. Four commercial pilots were received in South Africa. The group added more than 100 former mechanics trained in the offshore industry,” the group added.
The IPF highlights the importance of youth, leaders and stakeholders in the Niger Delta region’s continued support for Dr. Otuaro’s agenda.

The statement read in part: “We urge all parties to gather behind him to ensure the successful delivery of his plans and the overall progress of our region.”
The recognition of the Ijaw Publishers Forum highlights Dr. Otuaro’s awareness of the vision of revitalizing and empowering Niger Delta as he is committed to sustainable development and peace in the region.
However, the IPF remains optimistic that, with collaboration and support, the transformative initiatives initiated by Dr. Otuaro will continue to flourish, paving the way for a more obvious road to tomorrow for all residents of the Niger Delta.
ijaws are the majority in the Delta of the River – Rep Pondi
Julius Pondi, a member of the Brutu federal constituency representing the interior of the House of Representatives, announced that Ijaws were the majority in the Delta and Rivers states.
Pondi issued a declaration in response to comments from FCT Minister and former River Governor Nyesom Wike, now infamous comments that both countries are minorities.
