Parents of nine kidnapped children in Miya village in Ganguwa local government area of Bauchi State called on Governor Bala Mohammed to intervene and assist them in rescuing their ward.
The parents pleaded guilty while talking to reporters at the NUJ News Center in Bauchi on Wednesday, March 26, 2025.
Musa Kwana, a spokesman for parents, is a traditional ruler of the community and they may not see their children again unless the governor and his wife, Aisha Bala Mohammed, step in.
One day the kidnapped child’s name is revealed as the shawl, Zugi, Jumai Adate
“Since we have tried everything possible for several years since the 2014 incident and have not achieved positive results, we hope the governor and his wife step in and wipe the tears. We hope to see our children,” he said.
