Amos Isah, the founder and chief pastor of the Prophetic Voice of Victory in Abuja, has been arrested and detained by the Federal Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) on charges of raping a 14-year-old girl. The arrest happened last week, and Pastor Isa was known for his charismatic preaching and claims of divine power, this time. His church is located behind Noel Noel Academy opposite the Gwagwalada market in Abuja and has been a worship center for many residents. Saharareporter’s comments on his Facebook page show that Isah often posts information about holiness and moral integrity. The last service the pastor performed at the church took place on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, according to a check from the Sahara Reipotter.
The next day, June 19, a service was held at the church, but Pastor Isa obviously did not have a pulpit. On his Facebook page, Pastor Isah’s introduction was “The purpose of this page is (sic) to lead life with the Holy Spirit, because God has given me power, so touch life.” On June 15, Father’s Day, he posted on Facebook “Dear God, Thank you Father.”

Sources in the FCID confirmed that the victim was a 14-year-old girl who was allegedly sexually assaulted by Isah, leading to his arrest.
An attempt to reach the clergy made a comment was not successful because he did not respond to the call to the cell phone. Meanwhile, the Saharareporter gathered together, with some police officers allegedly working behind the scenes to protect the priest and prevent his name from being revealed. Investigators are reportedly dealing with the case with some degree of confidentiality due to the sensitivity of the allegations and the suspect’s status as a religious leader.
