Osita Okechukwu, a foundation member of the All Propersives Congress (APC), condemned former Sokoto Governor Aminu Tambuwal, who commented on the defection of the People’s Democratic Party and the ruling party’s administration.
Naija News Tambwal reportedly was disappointed by the recent wave of defection from party members to APC when he spoke at the PDP’s Northwest Regional Conference on Saturday.
He said “I believe no one has the conscience to join the APC. People leave the party for different reasons, but what I’ve been observing lately is that defection is not based on people’s interests, but on gastric infrastructure.”
In response, Okechukwu said on a question on the weekend that the PDP leadership’s trust deficit was a simulation of defectors rather than gastric infrastructure.
According to him, the wave of defectors was due to a violation of the rotation meeting of the president and the errors of Article 7 of the PDP Constitution, and Tambwal was one of the masterminds.
He reminded Tambuwal and his accomplices, some of the patriotic members of the PDP, to defect because the party has been demobilized and the irretrievable wreckage has become invalid, ineffectively playing the traditional role of the main opposition party.
He said:One cannot understand how my friend Senator Tambuwal evaluates the violation of the rotation conference, especially the former breast friend of the FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, who hosted his PDP in 2018 in 2018 Support him in the PDP competition without ambitions. Is it unreasonable to obey the rotation agreement?
“This is a branch of Vick’s Masquerade.”
Okechukwu, speaking of the upcoming alliance that will disperse APC in the 2027 presidential election, believes that greed in the PDP will not allow them to make reliable mergers.
The APC chief added that the northern region where the opposition relies on is one of the country’s mature voters and cannot be teased.
He said “Tambuvar and the queue behave as if they had 100% of the Northern vote in their pockets, despite Northern voters being deported to the polling station on Election Day.
“Their masterminds always forget that Northern voters are one of the most complex electors in the country and cannot be teased.
“Or they think that even if APC presents RT, putting all eggs in a PDP election basket for Southeast voters. Holourables Chuba Okadigbo and Edwin Umezoke were amnesia as vice presidents in 2003 and 2007 respectively?
“Defection is not about gastric infrastructure, but about the leadership trust deficit of PDP”
