    PDP postpones North-Central and North-South Congress

    The National Working Committee (NWC) of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has approved the postponement of the party’s regional congress in the north-central, south-south and south-west regions.

    Naija News The report said that Zonal Congress was scheduled to be held earlier on Saturday, April 12, 2025.

    PDP National Propaganda Secretary Debo Ologunagba learned this in a statement to reporters on Thursday night.

    Congress postponed the recent murders in the state with the governor and the people of the Plateau State and enabled the governors of the affected areas to participate and fully participate in the PDP Governors Forum meetings planned for Sunday, April 13, April 13 and Sunday, April 14, 2025 in Oyo State.

    Therefore, the NWC has approved the rescheduling of the Southwest Regional Assembly to Wednesday, April 16, 2025, and the party will convey the new dates of the new South Central and Southern Regional Assembly through the party in due course.

    “The NWC urges all leaders, key stakeholders, PDP shortlisted members, Independent National Election Commission (INEC), media, security agencies and the public to take care of delays and guide accordingly,” the statement added.
