- Page denies the assault charges brought by Tye.

Actress Peggy Orville, through her legal representative, has issued an official statement dismissing actor Tye Alimoro’s demand for N100 million compensation and refuting his assault allegations.
In a statement, Page’s attorneys described Tye’s allegations as “misleading, selective and materially untrue” and insisted that Tye had misrepresented actual events.
They explained that Tye was called back to the film set, but when he returned, he angrily attacked the production manager and head-butted Peggy’s driver, injuring the driver.
According to the legal team, several witnesses have given statements to police confirming Taye’s violent behavior.
The statement also said Tye then attempted to escape and any efforts to stop him were only intended to prevent him from escaping before authorities arrived.
Paige insists she never assaulted Tye, noting that the only contact between them occurred when she “nudged him” after Tye allegedly tried to deflate her car’s tires.
Her lawyers dismissed Tye’s claims of being mobbed, suffering a broken jaw or facing harassment as fabrications. They added that the police and Actors Guild of Nigeria are currently handling the case.
They further dismissed his demand for N100 million and hinted at possible legal action against him for attacking, defaming and disrupting the production of the film.
Paige shared the statement on Instagram, writing: “My silence should not be seen as weakness…the truth will be revealed.”
