Doubeli residents are a community in Jimeta, a local government area in Yola, northern Adamawa State, and woke up on Saturday, April 12, with the once identified body hanging by a man.
Deceased, not recognized by members of the area, were found swaying from a tree without a notification or identification.
The motive for suicide may not be certain, but the rampant speculation may be related to the prevalence of economic difficulties.
The state’s Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) SP Suleiman Nguroje confirmed the incident, but could not provide details.
“The investigation has begun since then,” he said, ensuring that the police will be in trouble.
